ARID is a research platform exploring architecture in arid environments through material systems, environmental forces, and processes of construction. The work focuses on sand, climate, resilience, and resource constraints as generative drivers of architecture. Through fieldwork, teaching, computation, and prototyping, ARID develops architectural strategies that operate across scales—from granular material behavior to territorial systems—positioning architecture as a form of environmental intelligence.
